LUMiN – iDWF

LUMiN is back with his new song “iDWF”. From the jump, LUMiN comes in with strong rhythmic songwriting full of the frustration & paranoia that comes with a break up. It’s the questions you don’t want to know the answers to, but LUMiN asks them candidly as the bass grooves along underneath him. The production is almost ironic; upbeat & happy while LUMiN laments, as if representing the conflict at the center of the song: all this melancholy when all he wants it to not feel anything at all.

It’s an impressive single with strong songwriting supported and a killer vocal performance. With this song featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, I’m sure this song will resonate with many new fans who will be singing that chorus at the top of their lungs at LUMiN’s next show.

“This song is about the time period after a break up where you still feel that persons presence in you, but you can’t do anything about it. Spending so much of your life and time with someone, to just have it cut off cold turkey, and just not knowing how to cope with that. Whether it be stalking them on instagram at 5 AM or going out and getting too drunk to feel anything. This song was written/recorded/produced in my bedroom by myself.“- LUMiN
