“I am SO happy about the release of “You Were The One”! It feels like Mario 2.0! Looking back on my first EP “Heart Of Gold”, I adore it. I’m still so proud of it. All of the places that EP took me and everyone that listened to it, I’ll never forget! Since then, I’ve fallen in love with a lot of Pop/EDM artists/producers and wanted to have that kind of influence on that. I teamed up with my buddy Joel Manduke to write a song about two of my best friends from home and how they found love. We wanted to capture that fun, summer love feeling in a song and I’m so happy with how it came out!” -Mario Jose
