Matthew Young: For You – Low Life

Sitting back this evening, sunken in my chair. The leather is worn out. My screen has some fucking F-Lux filter thing on so my eyes don’t turn inside out and my brain is tired… I need more sleep. Low Life, by Matthew Young… I first listened to the wonderful track Panama City, which he released on his DIVE EP. It had sincere RnB vibes that shook through my veins and eardrums (and headphones) and I was so surprised with the low number of plays and how undiscovered he was.

Fast forward a little time and Low Life is here. It’s brighter than the DIVE EP stuff, and it’s absolutely wonderful. Blunt lit, ramen in bowl; in hand – turn this on and i’m done. The synths are reminiscent of 90s Pure Moods jams (check here) and really bring me into an element of relaxation… more so, this guy will set the blog world on fire, and turn this winter back into summer.

And let’s revisit Panama City for some visuals
