Meyru – Something I Like

Meyru just released their new single, “Something I Like” and they are coming back to take over the guitar heavy indie scene. They start the song with an artistically paced guitar, already getting everyone tapping their feet. A higher pitched guitar accompanies the singer adding the perfect amount of texture to this passionate and grungy song. The simple, but powerful energy this song has, could be similar to those of The Strokes, which both emerged from the underground music community in NYC. Meryu builds the beat as the song goes on with more guitar, more harmonies, and even some classic drums surrounded by amazingly messy symbol hits. Meyru did not disappoint with this release and this song is definitely “Something I Like” and you will too.
