Olivia Grace – Safe (Music Video)
Olivia Grace is our latest obsession here at WFNM. After having an impressively successful release with her latest single, “Safe” premiering on Ones to Watch, and getting major blog support, she has now unveiled this stunning and timeless music video, shot on Super 8 film, which she produced herself.
“I knew I wanted to do it on Super 8 film because I felt like film would help it to feel more cinematic and nostalgic and warm. The whole video is based on this loose narrative of loneliness. At the same time, it’s very intimate,” explains Grace.
Not only am I a fan of the visuals and the location choice (San Bernadino mountains here in California), I personally love her choice for the storyline of the video, as the song paints the feeling of being safe in a lovers’ care, but the video features Olivia by herself, adorned in classic gowns, surrounded stunning nature views, from the mountains at sunset to being knee-deep in the bottom of a crisp lake encapsulated by huge rock formations. She appears very strong and secure even in solitude.
I’m so excited to follow this intriguing artist and watch her to continue to evolve.
