Opia: Falling

Two Yale University students, Cole Citrenbaum and Jacob Reske, unite for an R&B electro-infused project called “Opia.” Their debut single “Falling” is quite the jam, with  hip-hop style beats and jazzy guitars reminiscent of  singer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt.

Reske also produces under the moniker Colorthought and recently produced a track called “Singlewave” for female duo Sondar. Both tracks show off Reske as a genuinely talented producer. “Falling” is a really strong debut showing for the duo, and it seems that Citrenbaum’s vocals have found a perfect match for Reske’s production.
