Phangs – Au Revoir

Phangs is back with his new single “Au Revoir” and it’s awesome! Immediately moving with a punchy energy, Phangs’ distinctive vocals glide above a gritty beat that’s effortlessly smooth.

The chorus is fantastically catchy and I can imagine (and I’m certain I’ll soon see) a room full of people singing it at the top of their lungs! Phangs is incredibly deliberate with his sound while delivering his unique pop style.

I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg for the recent Kid In A Korner signee and I can’t wait to hear what comes next!

In his words:
“My friend from Nashville, Jon Santana, sent me part of the chorus instrumental with a guitar hook that Smallpools had recorded, and I loved it so much. I was literally driving to the studio in Nashville. On the second time listening, I mumbled “so long, au revoir, there’s the door, get goin” and then on the third pass through, I had pretty much written the entire chorus and was conceptualizing the verses. As soon as I pulled up to the studio, I went right into tracking it with my friend/producer, Brett Truitt. Really Au Revoir is a break up song that doesn’t end with me wallowing for once. It’s a tune to help myself move forward and not allow the past to have space in my future.” -Phangs
