[PREMIERE] Jae Luna – Human (Music Video)

Jae Luna has just released an eerie music video for his single “Human”. The video opens with a disquieting image of two oddly dressed people interacting at a table while staring at their phones. Detached, yet engaged, with faint taps echoing in the distance and subtitles overlapping, this intro sets the tone for the rest of the video and highlights the distance that can exist between two people when technology is involved.

For something so distopian-looking, there’s something raw, real, and (fittingly) human about this video and how it relates to the themes of the song. With the click of a switch, the lights turn off while colors and images are projected on the couple.

It’s all both beautiful, disquieting, and visually stunning; unwaveringly artistic, yet powerfully casual. The ending is heartbreakingly poignant with bitingly sharp writing that reads like poetry.

It’s an incredible video that compliments a heartfelt song and I’m left genuinely moved by the execution of the concept!
