Rebounder explores the passage of time in “Boy Friday”

NYC’s Rebounder shares their new single and accompanying video for their latest breezy indie rock tune “Boy Friday”. The track follows their releases “Premium Friday” and “Change Shapes” with a Jesse Rutherford of the band The Neighbourhood collaboration.

With “Boy Friday” Rebounder traverses the theme of the passage of time and how it can add pressure to trying to achieve one’s goals. Sonically, “Boy Friday” is a sun-kissed groovy indie pop meets rock affair with hypnotic bass and irresistible layered vocals. The music video was shot in Los Angeles by Ben Klein and features popular podcater Chris Black. The lighthearted storyline shows Dylan and Noah of the band being shown around the city by Chris, an LA native.

Rebounder was founded by producer, singer/songwriter Dylan Chenfeld with his brother Noah Chenfeld. The duo are joined by Cobey Arner and Zack Kantor. First releasing music in 2020 with their six song EP Subway Songs, Rebounder has gained a steady fan base with their indie rock releases and dynamic live show. Check out “Boy Friday” now and add it to your summer playlist.
