Las Vegas genre-pushing breakout artist Ryan Nico just dropped his debut album Urban Cowboy.
Urban Cowboy thrives in the spaces between genres. Equal parts country storytelling, pop accessibility, and R&B swagger, the eight-track project feels tailor-made for listeners who stopped caring about playlists with strict boundaries. “Nevada” stands tall as the album’s centerpiece, channeling the possibility and spectacle of Las Vegas into an undeniable anthem. It’s a promising debut from an artist more interested in authenticity than fitting neatly into a box. Nico adds, “The meaning behind Urban Cowboy describes me as an artist and person. I grew up in the city, but I have deep Country roots.”
