Roy English: No Time Valentine
After Alesso’s “Cool,” and Michael Brun collaboration “Tongue Tied July,” Roy English has returned in 2016 with a new track out today, “No Time Valentine.”
Says Roy, “‘No Time Valentine’ actually started out as a sweet love song. There was a girl I really cared about, but she ended up breaking my heart. As soon as all these amazing things started happening with my career, she started hitting me up again, blowing up my phone saying she always cared about me. I knew the truth, of course she would say that now, so the song changed a lot. The creation of this song was done all around the world. I worked on production on a recent trip to Bali, and a friend of mine, Willy Beamen, played all these amazing keyboard and synth parts while in Peru. Then I had Haitian producer Michael Brun help me finalize the mix once I returned to LA. “
“No Time Valentine” is available on Spotify and Soundcloud, and the official video is on Roy’s YouTube page (Directed by Patrick Wieland). Stay tuned for a lot more Roy English in the coming months.
