Sam Frankl – Petrichor EP

Sam Frankl has just released his new EP “Petrichor”. Featuring three song, “Gold Rush, “Patina”, and (the title track) “Petrichor”, Sam Frankl pushes the edge of alt-pop with creative & compelling sound design & smooth vocals. This Brixton-based artist injected passion into this EP & you can hear the deliberation in every second of this record. It’s an impressive EP & a great next step for Sam Frankl!

In his words:
“At the beginning of 2017 I started a new creative partnership with my producer Rob Brinkmann. He moved into the studio I’d built in South London and we started experimenting with sounds. Gold Rush, the debut single from this EP was released that summer with its follow up, Patina coming in early 2018. Petrichor is the final panel of the triptych and, with an album of new material slated for 2019, the end of this period of experimentation. Petrichor means the smell of rain after a period of drought.” – Sam Frankl
