Silver – Take it Away

Silver is back with her new single “Take it Away” and it’s minimal perfection. Opening with sparse bells, Silver’s bitterly gentle vocals take center stage, delivering each well-written line with a refreshing candidness. The production builds subtly around her voice, with harmony layers and vocal chops creating dynamics and motion. The second verse is almost entirely acapella with only main vocals and vocoder and it’s an awesome effect.

Silver is onto something special here and considering this is only her third single (with her debut, “Darling Don’t” garnering over 500,000 streams and her follow-up “Drinking Games” gaining over 360,000 streams), it’s clear she’s on a clear and steady rise!
