I sent him a bunch of unfinished demos, and he chose to record on one that I had sort of soured on—it happens! So I took his vocal and made a new song around it, which I love doing. It felt more like remixing his song. What came out was this glistening, feel-good anthem with one of the best kick drums I’ve ever made—pats self on back—enjoy!”
