soso & MTNS – Trust

LA-based duo soso has teamed up with Australian powerhouse band-member of MTNS to release their new single “Trust”.

This song starts like a vibey slow-burn, building with sparse percussion and the dark undertones of a rising bass. The chorus strips this all away to reveal a bright atmosphere of arpeggiated plucks, light piano, and spacious vocals.

It’s an intense contrast, but sets the tone for the rest of the song, preparing us for wherever soso & MTNS wants to take us sonically. The dark spaces carry weight and the bright choruses float and glide, weightless.
