Sumi X Hits With an Electrifying Rollercoaster Ride About Honest Identity  Under the Name of “Bad Decisions”

“Bad Decisions” is the new single for Pittsburgh artist Sumi X, which she expects to “encourages everyone listening to quit trying to be the “good girl” and go figure out what they really want to do, instead.” The reason is that this captivating and exhilarating song delves into the complexities of human nature and the consequences that arise from impulsive choices.

The thought-provoking lyrics invite listeners to reflect on their own lives and the potential ramifications of their actions. From the very first notes, Bad Decisions grabs your attention and refuses to let go. The pulsating beats, layered with a blend of electronic and rock elements, create an electrifying atmosphere that sets the tone for the entire track. Sumi X’s rich and expressive voice seamlessly merges with the intense instrumentals, captivating listeners with her emotions.

The seamless transitions between different sections of the song and the seamless integration of diverse musical influences reveal the artist’s dedication to creating a cohesive and engaging piece of music. Each instrument feels precisely placed, and the overall mixing allows every element to shine.

One thing that is always good to remember about this girl is that she started and scaled a 200-person IT and management services company, winning numerous awards and media recognition including Inc. Magazine’s “30 under 30” and making Inc 500’s “Fastest Growing Companies” list year over year.

However, her heart was elsewhere, so she decided to put all that aside and establish herself in the path of music. So, in the autumn of 2021, she made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, fully embracing her artistry and leaving behind any traces of hesitation. Since then, there has been no turning back. In this transformative phase, she crafted an artist persona named Sumi X, symbolizing the arduous battle she has endured regarding her identity throughout her existence.

From enduring the anguish of bullying and feeling marginalized due to her Indian American heritage to pursuing an education and career that failed to resonate with her true self, she spent a significant portion of her life striving to conform to societal expectations that were never intended for herself.

“Because of my own journey, I’m passionate about using my voice and platform to help other ‘misfits’ find the courage and confidence to be their authentic selves in a confusing world,” Sumi explains, at the time she reminds people to celebrate the journey of self-realization while serving as an example that if you don’t fit in, it’s because you were born to stand out.

The song will be followed by a music video next month with a plot twist that shows that sometimes lots of good can be done with so-called “bad” decisions.
