Taylor Janzen is back with her single “New Mercies” and it’s absolutely incredible! Evolving from her last amazing EP (“Interpersonal”), Taylor’s heartbreakingly raw vocals now sail above a thumping full-band sound that builds brilliantly around her careful intensity.

Produced and mixed by Mike Mogis (Phoebe Bridgers, Bright Eyes, Cursive), there’s a new kind of crispness and power that really compliments Taylor’s biting songwriting.

It’s no secret that Taylor Janzen was one of our favorite discoveries of the year and this new single highlights and expands everything we loved about her debut EP. If this is the direction of Taylor’s sound is going, I can’t wait to hear what comes next!
