The Moss return with ‘Free Ride’ EP and announce massive tour!

Salt Lake City based trailblazers The Moss have just shared their exciting new EP. Called Free Ride, the four song collection features themes of connection, emotional intensity, intimacy and also self preservation. The band, who is known for their insanely thrilling live shows, also announced a massive tour with dates across the U.S.

Free Ride opens up with the single “Darkness”, a mood-rich indie rock tune that entices with an anthemic yet haunting chorus that lingers. Driving basslines, striking guitar riffs and shimmery synths add to the track’s allure. The song details finding a deep connection but also wanting space to sort out one’s own emotions. Another EP highlight is “Oasis” which begins with steady keys and soon includes melodic guitars and emotive vocals. The introspective vocals discuss how fleeting a connection can be and how important it is to feel seen, even in a moment.

The Moss have made a name for themselves with their organic indie rock that is cathartic as it is catchy. The band is composed of Tyke James (vocals/guitar),  Willie Fowler (drums) and Tyler Harris (guitar).  Take a listen now and check them out live!
