Total Brutal’s Laid-Back “Had A Feeling”

Southern California’s multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Emily Moore returns with the ultimate summer jam.  Entitled “Had A Feeling” the breezy indie pop affair shines with nautical-dipped melodies and chilled bass.  The song details Moore’s realization on how important human connections are for her well-being.  Many of us can relate to this feeling, especially after a socially polarizing pandemic year. 

Moore is known as a touring musician playing alongside the likes of Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, fun and more. Her new project Total Brutal encompasses an array of influences from folk, pop and funk culminating into infectious and refreshing releases.  “Had A Feeling” follows the funky alt pop single “Egypt” and the sultry hushed “Choosy Moms”.
