Wrabel: 11 Blocks
I’ve been anticipating this song for a long time, and it’s much more than I expected. Wrabel’s voice, filled with honesty and heart, pierces through the production and really latches onto your heartstrings. With a big pop chorus, life seems a little less lonely: you’re not just singing along to the words of somebody else… It’s an anthem we all can understand, in some shape or form. And as much as it might hurt to sing the truth, you will never regret opening your heart to understand yourself.
Wrabel’s new single is definitely being added to my “All-Stars 2016” playlist. “11 Blocks” is beautiful and heartfelt, but also an example of a perfect pop anthem with substance.
