WRENN – Internet Gaming

20-year-old Los Angeles based artist, WRENN, has captivated us with her 90’s inspired dream pop track ‘Internet Gaming’. It reminds me of a great band I used to always listen to called Transister. The vocals are so smooth and alien like. This song really speaks to us with the phrase

‘everybody wants me to go outside’

in such a time of lockdown due to the Corona Virus. I assume it wasn’t how she intended it, but it has brought on a whole new meaning. You can also hear similarities to 90’s talents like Avril Lavine or Garbage. She packs in sass, grit and pure talent as well as a very smooth voice. From what I can tell, she is the definition of cool.
