Ant Saunders – “Yellow Hearts” (Music Video) – FIRE ROUND: Four Reasons Why

Viral sensation Ant Saunders releases highly anticipated music video for “Yellow Hearts.” The song that took TikTok by storm, already amassing over 47 million spins on Spotify alone, is matched in its visual companion with that same DIY charm that has made the masses swoon over Mr. Saunders.

And you know we are most certainly swooning too, here are four reasons why…

1. His incorporation of mixed mediums, we found ourselves hypnotized as Saunders playfully moves through live action and a cartoon world of pink skies, neon green grass, and of course, yellow hearts.

2. The Microsoft paint section, which happens to also be the single cover art, making its first appearance at 0:17 and giving us mad nostalgia and a massive appreciation for the visual continuity of “Yellow Hearts” as a whole.

3. The casual, internet DIY vibe of the video; shot on 16mm camera and creatively unrestrained, we love the feel of a good homegrown project.
